For my capstone project, I consulted with and created a change management and training strategy for a multinational technology company, ABB.
In this role, I led all learning & talent development activities for the company. I was laid off in an organizational restructuring due to budget cuts after the loss of a large, 50-store contract.
I was hired by Exelon to help build the first ever Change Management Center of Excellence at this company.
After 1.5 years, I was promoted to Principal, Talent Manager.
Facilitate change and link strategic initiatives of the business to work processes, stimulate innovation, and gain consensus among diverse groups to keep pace with rapid changes in the business environment.
Served as thought leader for professional development. Gained senior leadership level buy-in for investment resulting in development of online library containing 10 courses reaching 1,500 learners nationally.
Selected by senior staff to provide urgently needed leadership. Identified programmatic design flaws and streamlined business processes. Consulted with global senior program leadership to conduct risk analysis and implement plans.
Hand-picked by Vice President to create and lead Professional Development. Provided vision and strategic direction, led implementation efforts, and managed recruiting, communications, curriculum design, and coaching. Directed five program participants, five business area assignment managers, and several trainers throughout enterprise. Developed and executed annual professional development conferences.
Led extensive educational intervention plans for 54,000 employees globally in IS&GS. Managed branding, newly created briefings, visual aids, news releases, informational website, scripting, multi-media production, and curriculum development. Created online training modules in learning management system. Developed educational videos. Authored executive writings, including awards, speeches, and emails for senior leadership to include Vice President. Wrote informational articles featured in internal and external employee publications.
Appointed to direct all administration, finance, therapeutic, and outreach efforts. Led virtual team of 33 employees. Administered annual budget of $1 million. Created and implemented on-the-job training programs and mentoring programs. Conducted community needs assessments to customize course offerings and services.
